Callie is a Junior Chemistry student at JMU.
"This is my first time doing research and I can’t wait! Once I finish my bachelor's degree at JMU I hope to continue with the master's degree and my PhD. I then wish to be a college professor or high school teacher. Outside of chemistry, I enjoy playing with my cat Marble, reading, and watching movies."
Sarah Cook
Sarah is a freshman at James Madison University.
"I am currently majoring in Health Sciences with a pre-medicine minor, and I am so excited to get started this semester. Science has always been a big part of my life, in and out of school, whether it be taking an interesting science course, conducting experiments, or building rockets with my dad. When I’m not at school or in the lab you’ll most likely find me at the beach, baking, or going on a nice camping trip with friends."

"My name is Rania Supriadi, and I am currently a senior Health Sciences major with a Pre-Medicine minor at James Madison University. I have worked as a General Chemistry Lab Assistant for 3 years and enjoy being a mentor to students in the lab. My hobbies included traveling and snorkeling. A fun fact about myself is that I lived in Indonesia for 8 years!"

"I am Luke Campbell, a freshman at JMU pursuing a B.S. with a major in chemistry. In addition to this, I am considering pursuing a second major in public policy. I am looking forward to joining the research lab this semester! Outside of school or lab work, I enjoy golfing, baking, and spending time with friends and family."

"I am currently a Junior Chemistry Student at JMU with a Pre-Forensic Studies pathway. I hope to use my chemistry degree in labs to help analyze forensic cases. I am excited to learn more about what it takes to do formal graduate research! In my free time I love to hike and rock climb, as well as spend time hosting dinners for my friends. "

"I’m a sophomore at James Madison University, majoring in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry. I’m excited to be involved in various campus activities, including Club Swimming, Outdoor Adventure, and the Student American Chemical Society (SAACS), and I also work at UREC. In addition, I coach swimming during the summer at home. I’m enthusiastic about the upcoming research opportunity with Dr. Chen, which I believe will be a valuable experience in my academic journey.
